Laligurans Women Skill Development Centre (LWSDC) was established and registered with His Majestry’s government in 2003 A. D. It is a nonprofitable organization situated in Lakeside Pokhara. LWSDC was conceived by seven women and offers development training for women only. These women come from various backgrounds such as rural villages, are windowed, divorced, abused or are outcasts. This project aims to enable these women to become self reliant and in the process develop their standard of living by providing training in cutting, sewing, weaving and other handicraft related skills. The LWSDC also helps donate funds to the disabled & old-aged women of Naudanda Village, as well as supports the children of Machhapuchhre School. Your donation would contribute to rent, electricity, equipment/materials and salaries. Equipment and materials are the biggest expense, rent and salaries are the second and electricity is the least expense. Work with us to help enable these women in regaining their strength and self, as well as learn new skills. Thank you!
